Offer by Olivia Lum for HyfluxShop Holdings is voluntary

THE offer by Hyflux's chief executive Olivia Lum for consumer business, HyfluxShop Holdings, is voluntary and not mandatory, Hyflux clarified in an announcement this week.
In a Feb 12 statement, the company sought to clarify its earlier announcement on Feb 1, which stated that controlling shareholder Ms Lum must make a mandatory offer for HyfluxShop after the completion of a dividend in specie distribution.
