Willas-Array Electronics Holdings reports surge in H1 FY18 net profit
WILLAS-ARRAY Electronics' H1 FY18 net profit jumped to HK$60.15 million (S$10.48) from HK$14.57 million previously, in tandem with higher revenue.
Revenue was up nearly 14 per cent year on year to HK$2.35 billion as the automotive and premium home appliance segments achieved growth.
Earnings per share from continuing operations clocked 79.21 HK cents, up from 21.74 HK cents previously.
It said: "The group will continue to be prudent in managing its operations while maintaining its cautious stance in managing costs and sustaining a healthy liquidity position in order to support long-term growth. In view of its performance in H1 FY2018, the group is cautiously optimistic about its performance in the year ending March 31, 2018."
