Top Glove in talks to buy glove maker, but no final terms yet
MALAYSIAN-BASED rubber glove maker Top Glove is in talks to acquire a glove manufacturer, the company said in a mid-day announcement on Tuesday.
Addressing media reports, Top Glove said, however, that it is not acquiring or buying either Adventa Bhd or Supermax Corp Bhd, two companies that had been the subject of speculation.
Terms and conditions for its planned acquisition have not been finalised, Top Glove said.
The counter slipped 2.3 per cent, or five Singapore cents, to S$2.10 on Tuesday after the announcement.
