Europe: Stock markets firm at open

[LONDON] Europe's main stock markets edged 0.1 per cent higher at the open on Monday in a subdued start to the week.
In initial deals, London's benchmark FTSE 100 index stood at 7,520.40 points, up 0.1 per cent from the closing level on Friday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index advanced to 12,305.74 points and the Paris CAC 40 climbed to 5,210.73.
