Tokyo: Stocks open lower

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks opened lower on Friday as yen strength hurt sentiment.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index fell 0.27 per cent, or 54.42 points, to 20,090.17 in early trading, while the Topix index of all first-section issues was down 0.22 per cent, or 3.65 points, at 1,629.36.
