Talk of Abe's political end raises question on fate of Abenomics

WITH speculation mounting in Japan that Prime Minister Shinzo Abe could be forced to step down over a series of scandals embroiling him and members of his administration, the question of what happens to his signature "Abenomics" policies is looming large.
In a report headlined "The End of Abenomics", prominent Japanese analyst Tohru Sasaki of JP Morgan Chase Bank suggested this week that the basic policies pursued by the Abe government and the Bank of Japan (BOJ) - especially that of a weak-yen strategy - are likely to live on beyond Mr Abe.
