Tokyo: Stocks hit 15-month high on yen weakness

[TOKYO] Tokyo stocks hit a 15-month high on Monday, with struggling Toshiba rallying after saying it plans to announce a delayed earnings report this week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index edged up 0.15 per cent, or 29.14 points, to close at 19,633.75 - the highest since December 2015.
The broader Topix index of all first-section issues rose 0.22 per cent, or 3.39 points, to end at 1,577.40.
