Carbon price seen more effective as part of climate measures

A CARBON price will not be the silver bullet in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Rather, it is more effective as part of a raft of policy measures, according to climate policy experts.
The Business Times (BT) had spoken to these experts in San Francisco ahead of China's plans to roll out its national emissions trading scheme in the second half of this year. Singapore, too, is looking to impose a carbon price, BT reported last week.
