Trump says he turned down US$2b Dubai property deal
Dubai
PRESIDENT-ELECT Donald Trump said on Wednesday that he was offered US$2 billion a few days ago to make a deal in Dubai with a major property developer but turned it down because he didn't want to have a conflict of interest after his election.
"Over the weekend, I was offered US$2 billion to do a deal in Dubai with a very, very amazing man, a great developer from the Middle East," he said at his first press conference since the election. "I turned it down. I didn't have to turn it down."
