Singapore shares open flat on Friday after Thanksgiving holiday in US

SINGAPORE stocks opened flat on Friday, after a quiet session on Thursday as US markets were closed for Thanksgiving.
As at 9am, the benchmark Straits Times Index was up 0.06 per cent or 1.75 points at 2,845.47.
Gainers outnumbered losers 54 to 38, with 106.7 million shares worth S$134.9 million changing hands.
Among the most active counters were Magnus Energy, Blumont and Singtel.
