Hong Kong: Stocks close higher to extend gains

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended higher Tuesday, tracking an Asia-wide rally that extended the previous day's gains, with banks big beneficiaries.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 0.45 per cent, or 105.01 points, to 23,689.44.
Mainland Chinese markets are closed this week for the National Day holiday.
