Singapore, Malaysia to call tender for joint development partner for HSR project
MALAYSIA'S MyHSR Corporation and Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) will call a joint tender on Aug 22 to appoint a joint development partner to assist in the development of the Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR) project.
The joint development partner is expected to provide project management support, technical advice and procurement advice relating to the high-speed railway systems and operations, they said in a joint release on Friday. In addition, the partner will also develop the technical and safety standards to be adopted for the project.
The partner will also assist the joint project team set up by Singapore and Malaysia with the preparation of documents for upcoming tenders, such as the appointment of AssetsCo and OpCo International.
The tender is open to firms which have advised on large public-private partnership infrastructure projects including HSR projects of similar size and complexity or firms with experience in providing project management, technical, commercial or legal advisory services relating to HSR and/or rail projects of equal to or over 200km of track.
Interested parties can visit MyHSR's website or LTA's website from Monday.
