Hong Kong shares close higher for fifth session

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended higher for a fifth-straight session Thursday as Britain began voting in a historic referendum on its future in the European Union.
The Hang Seng Index gained 0.35 per cent, or 73.22 points, to close at 20,868.34.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.47 per cent, or 13.59 points, to 2,891.96 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, eased 0.32 per cent, or 6.17 points, to 1,915.21.
