Syngenta sees acquisition unlocking additional opportunities in Asia-Pac

SWISS agro-chemical giant Syngenta is eyeing additional opportunities in the Asia-Pacific after the completion of the acquisition by state-owned ChemChina, said a senior executive on Thursday as the group opened a new Seedcare Institute in Singapore.
"We believe that within Asia-Pacific, and particularly within China, it should unlock additional opportunities for us in terms of our growth ambitions, and we're looking at what that exactly looks like now," said its regional director for the Asia-Pacific, Tina Lawton.
