Singapore
THE shell casings saved from the 21-gun salute fired during the state funeral procession for the late Lee Kuan Yew have been presented to organisers of the funeral and institutions closely associated with him, the Prime Minister's Office said on Thursday. Most of the shells will be put on public display at various locations in Singapore.
Recipients include the People's Association (PA), the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) and the Housing & Development Board (HDB).
