Malaysia: Shares open lower on Friday

MALAYSIA share prices opened lower on Friday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down 5.980 points to 1673.840.
Volume was 49.6 million lots worth RM12.5 million.
Losers outnumbered gainers 74 to 71.
