Singapore Flyer helps bolster Straco's Q4 performance
Singapore
THANKS to contributions from the Singapore Flyer, tourist attraction operator Straco Corporation saw a near 42 per cent leap in net profit to S$6.26 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015, in line with higher revenue.
Revenue was up by nearly 23 per cent to S$23.83 million, boosted by revenue from the Singapore Flyer which was acquired in November 2014. However, this was partially offset by lower profits from Shanghai Ocean Aquarium (SOA) and Underwater World Xiamen (UWX) in the quarter under review.
