INVESTORS increasingly want to see more than just the financials of a company, and sustainability reporting can help smaller firms boost investor confidence, regulators said at a sustainability roundtable last week held by the Singapore Exchange (SGX).
The point of introducing sustainability reporting is not to create a "checkbox" mentality but to allow investors and other stakeholders to be more informed about the material risks that a company faces and how it manages them, they added.
