More firms in these two sectors expect reduced business activity until mid-year: polls

FIRMS in both the manufacturing and services sectors are now even more pessimistic about their short-term business prospects, official surveys released on Friday have found.
Global economic uncertainty, China's ongoing slowdown and lower oil prices are weighing further on already-weak sentiment. A higher proportion of firms are thus foreseeing a reduction in business activity in the six months till mid-year.
