Bank of France trims Q4 French growth forecast to 0.3%
[PARIS] The French economy will grow by 0.3 per cent in the fourth quarter of the year, the Bank of France said on Tuesday, revising down its forecast for the period.
The central bank gave the estimate in a monthly business sentiment survey which showed the index for morale in the service sector fell in November to 96 from a downwardly revised 97 in October.
The bank said activity in the hotel and restaurant sector had taken a toll from the Nov 13 attacks in and around Paris that killed 130 people.
The survey also indicated that sentiment in the industrial sector fell to 98 in November from 99 in October.
