Coming: computerised hub to fine-tune business ops
This new system, to be promoted among SMEs, feeds real-time data into a centralised system and promises higher efficiency
Singapore
GOVERNMENT agencies and industry partners are planning to develop a computerised nerve centre that can help companies across the country fine-tune business operations in real time, in turn helping them to cut costs and raise productivity.
And if all goes as planned, in about six months, about 100 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from the precision engineering, aerospace and marine and offshore industries will be able try out the new system, called "Manufacturing Control Tower" (MCT).
