URA rental index for retail space eases 2% in Q3

THE Urban Redevelopment Authority said on Friday its rental index for retail space decreased 2.0 per cent in the third quarter over the preceding quarter, a smaller drop compared to the 0.5 per cent fall posted in Q2.
Prices of retail space dipped 0.3 per cent in Q3 after easing of 0.5 per cent in Q2.
The vacancy rate for retail space stood at 7.0 per cent at end-Q3, down slightly from 7.2 per cent at end-Q2
