Sembcorp Marine secures US$1b North Sea contract
Company says it wins mega deal despite stiff competition from other world-class yards

SEMBCORP Marine has clinched a contract of more than US$1 billion to build three topsides for the Culzean Field development in the North Sea, the rig builder announced on Tuesday.
The consideration amount for the engineering, procurement and construction contract, including long lead items, is for building a central processing facility, two connecting bridges, a wellhead platform and utilities and living quarters platform for Maersk Oil North Sea UK.
