Singapore firms' IPO proceeds fall to lowest since 2009

TOTAL initial public offering (IPO) proceeds raised by Singapore companies - in domestic and overseas markets - for the first nine months of this year have fallen to their lowest since 2009, Thomson Reuters' data as at Sept 18 showed.
The amount stood at US$91.7 million, which is also a 95.6 per cent slump compared to the first nine months of last year.
