Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.22% higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks were 0.22 per cent higher in opening trades Friday, defying a negative lead from Wall Street.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index gained 53.34 points to 24,428.62.
