Vehicle sales lift S'pore June retail numbers by 6.9%
Excluding vehicles, sales actually dipped 3%

SINGAPORE retail sales went up by 6.9 per cent to S$3.5 billion in June 2015, from S$3.3 billion a year ago, marking the biggest jump in retail sales in four months.
Excluding motor vehicles, however, retail sales fell by 3.0 per cent. Motor vehicle sales saw the biggest year-on-year spike of 85.2 per cent.
