Investors told they're often too cautious and miss out on firms with good growth prospects during uncertainty

IN an environment of slow economic growth, investors often miss out on companies with strong fundamentals as they become too cautious, said Roger Montgomery, chairman and chief investment officer at Sydney-based Montgomery Investment Management.
Companies with fantastic growth prospects often become cheaper in such climates, because people forget the fundamentals, said Mr Montgomery at the 2015 Invest Fair on Saturday.
