Europe: Stocks plummet on global economic concerns

[PARIS] Europe's main stock markets plummeted on Monday on fears that China's economic woes would drag on global growth.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index sank 4.67 per cent to close at 5,898.87 points.
In the eurozone, the CAC 40 in Paris plunged 5.35 per cent to end at 4,383.46 points, and Frankfurt's DAX 30 lost 4.70 per cent to finish at 9,648.43 points.
