Yellen's name on list given to investigators probing Fed leaks

FEDERAL Reserve chair Janet Yellen said Monday that her name is on a list handed over to the House Financial Services Committee in its investigation of whether central bank officials leaked information to a private advisory firm, but Ms Yellen vigorously denied that she conveyed anything confidential.
The Fed, which is battling calls by congressional Republicans for greater transparency, is also being investigated by its own inspector general and the Justice Department.
