CJ calls on legal fraternity to be open to global community

CHIEF Justice Sundaresh Menon has urged the Singapore legal profession to remain open to the region and the world if it is to build a world-class legal infrastructure, even as it continues to serve the people.
In his speech marking the opening of the legal year, he homed in on this as a key point for the legal community to bear in mind as it continues building on the foundation laid down by its pioneers.
