Hong Kong: Stocks open 1.30% higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares jumped 1.30 per cent at the start of trade Thursday following a surge on Wall Street after the US Federal Reserve dampened speculation of an interest rate hike at the start of next year.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 292.50 points to 22,878.34 in the first few minutes of trade.
