UPS set to deliver record 585m packages in Dec
This is 10% more than in December last year; delivery volume boosted by the recent proliferation of e-commerce

WHILE the year-end holidays are considered by many as the "most wonderful time of the year", they can also be the most demanding, packed with holiday errands and to-do lists - and in the case of global logistics provider UPS, staggering delivery volumes, boosted by the recent proliferation of e-commerce.
But the Georgia-based courier company - which counts Germany's DHL and Memphis-based FedEx as its competitors - is not fazed, citing faith in its global network, multi-modal capabilities, technology, portfolio and over 107 years of logistics expertise.
