REDEVELOPING areas with lower-intensity use is one viable way of achieving higher land productivity, said Minister for Trade and Industry Lim Hng Kiang on Thursday.
"As the economy shifts to focus on higher value-added activities, revitalising our estates will provide a boost to industries higher in the value chain, as well as create good jobs for Singaporeans," he said.
Mr Lim was speaking at the official opening of the S$59 million JTC Surface Engineering Hub @ Tanjong Kling (SEH).
