Qian Hu posts 10% fall in Q3 net profit

QIAN Hu Corporation on Wednesday posted a 10.2 per cent fall in net profit for the third quarter, dragged down by higher costs.
The fish farmer said net profit for the three months ended Sept 30 stood at S$79,000, down from S$88,000 a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter slipped 0.2 per cent to S$20.5 million, but the cost of sales gained 1.9 per cent to S$14.6 million.
Earnings per share were unchanged at 0.02 Singapore cents.
