H1 syndicated loan value for Asia-Pac ex-Japan slips 2.4%
Published Mon, Jun 30, 2014 · 10:00 PM
THE value of syndicated loans in Asia-Pacific (excluding Japan) in the first half of the year slipped 2.4 per cent to US$207 billion from the corresponding period last year, Thomson Reuters data show.
This was despite the number of deals being higher at 623 compared with the year-ago figure of 609.
The weaker loan value was a result of tepid loan numbers coming out of China and South-east Asia.
