SINGTEL is expanding its mobile remittance service to the Indonesian market, even as its existing service for the Philippines makes fresh headway.

From this Sunday, the operator's mRemit service will allow funds to be transferred to more than 80 Indonesian banks, including Bank Danamon, Bank Negara Indonesia and Bank Mandiri.

The person on the receiving end of a fund transfer can have access to the funds within three minutes of a successful transaction, the telco said yesterday.
