Life insurance industry's Q2 growth muted

SINGAPORE'S life insurance industry recorded muted growth in the second quarter this year.
Weighted new business premiums for the three months ended June fell 10 per cent to S$660.3 million from a year ago.
This, as weighted annual premiums dropped by 19 per cent to S$450.1 million in the second-quarter compared with the same period last year.
