Revenue surge swells CWT's Q2 earnings
Group unveils plans for a mega logistics facility
MAINBOARD-LISTED logistics group CWT Ltd reported a robust second-quarter performance yesterday, while also unveiling plans to build a new mega logistics facility.
CWT said its net profit attributable to shareholders for the three months ended June 30, 2014 jumped 67 per cent from the year-ago period to S$30.3 million. This was on the back of a 114 per cent year-on-year surge in revenue to S$3.69 billion for the quarter.
The group's earnings per share for the quarter were 5.04 Singapore cents, up from 3.02 cents the year before.
