ThaiBev mulling price increase on key products amid cost pressures; FY21 net profit up 8.3% to 24.6 billion baht
THAI Beverage Public Company (ThaiBev) Y92 : Y92 0%on Friday (Nov 26) reported net profit of 24.6 billion baht (S$1 billion) for the full fiscal year 2021 ended September, some 8.3 per cent higher than earnings of 22.8 billion baht in the year-ago period.
This was due primarily to a positive impact from non-recurring costs and deferred tax utilisation related to the restructuring of the group's beer business last year, which amounted to 2.66 billion baht, said the company in a regulatory filing.
This translates to earnings per share of 0.98 baht, versus 0.91 baht in FY20.
