Bosses should help ITE be a key anchor in push for life-long learning: DPM Tharman

ITE will be a key anchor in the national push for lifelong learning but employers must also help it to succeed, according to Deputy Prime Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
In particular, Mr Tharman, who is also Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies, said employers must play a bigger role to enable ITE to make the necessary transformation to provide "a new fluidity in our system" for workers to keep up with fast technological changes.
