SIA first Asian airline to offer expedited screening to customers travelling from US
Singapore
SINGAPORE Airlines (SIA) announced on Friday that it has partnered the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to offer expedited security screening procedures to customers travelling from US airports under TSA Precheck, becoming the first Asian airline to do so.
The programme reduces checkpoint wait times by providing a separate security screening lane for low-risk known travellers, where they will not be required to remove jackets, belts, laptops, liquids and shoes.
