I want to win with honour, says SDP's Chee
He accuses the PAP camp of making personal attacks on his character and says he will accept the voters' choice of MP
Singapore
SINGAPORE Democratic Party (SDP) chief Chee Soon Juan says he "doesn't care" about the numerous personal attacks that the ruling People's Action Party (PAP) have lobbed at him during the ongoing by-election campaign in Bukit Batok.
"The PAP tells you I have a bad character and that you shouldn't vote for me. That's all they've been saying for the past several days. One by one, the ministers have popped up to take shots at me, attacking me very personally and very viciously," the 53-year-old said at his party's third rally on Tuesday.
