Jump in ST Engineering share price prompts SGX query

SHARES in ST Engineering rose over 5 per cent in trading on Thursday morning, prompting a query from the Singapore Exchange (SGX).
The counter later climbed higher and eventually closed at S$3.24, up 18 cents. At market close, some 6.5 million shares had changed hands. It was also among the top five absolute gainers on the exchange.
