Keppel Corp, SembMarine respond to EIG's adding of yards as defendants in US suit
Keppel says it has not been served any claim; SembMarine says EIG move "entirely without merit and baseless"

COMMENTING on a Reuters report that named Keppel Corporation, Sembcorp Marine and Jurong Shipyard as among the parties which US-based fund house EIG Management Co has added in its US$221 million damages suit against Petrobras, a spokesman of Keppel said on Tuesday that it has not been served any claim relating to this lawsuit.
The Keppel spokesman was responding to BT's request for comments following the report that EIG has added Brazil's engineering conglomerate Odebrecht SA and a few other shipyards in the Washington suit. The report said the shipyards mentioned include Keppel, SembMarine and Jurong Shipyard.
