Overall exports from New Zealand up 7%
Dairy exports, however, are down 25%, says NZ trade commissioner at F&B showcase in Plaza Singapura
Singapore
NEW Zealand dairy exports to Singapore fell 25 per cent to NZ$317.7 million (S$295 million) last year, said Tony Robinson, trade commissioner at New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) on Thursday.
"This is attributed to the global pricing of dairy which fluctuates every few years for various commodity reasons," he said at the opening ceremony of Taste New Zealand, a food and beverage showcase by Cold Storage and NZTE at Plaza Singapura.
