New programme to help businesses expand footprint in region
Singapore
THE newly minted Southeast Asia Manufacturing Alliance (SMA) will play an important role in helping both global businesses and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) grow their manufacturing and innovation footprint in the region, contributing to Singapore's vision to become a global business, innovation and talent hub for advanced manufacturing by 2030.
The SMA, a tripartite agreement between the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), Enterprise Singapore (ESG) and private sector partners, will promote a network of industrial parks to manufacturers who are interested to invest in both Singapore and the region.
