Malaysia: Shares open higher on Tuesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Tuesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 8.43 points, or 0.52 per cent, to 1,617.95 as at 9.09am.
Volume was 864.16 million lots worth about RM437.88 million. Gainers beat losers 417 to 228.
