Malaysia: Shares open higher on Wednesday

MALAYSIA share prices opened higher on Wednesday with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index up 16.4 points or one per cent to 1,591.7 as at 9.04am.
Volume was 550.7 million lots worth about RM423.9 million. Gainers beat losers 361 to 211.
