BreadTalk unit injects additional capital into Thai joint venture
BREADTALK Group's indirect 49 per cent owned subsidiary, BreadTalk (Thailand) Company Limited together with its joint venture partner, The Minor Food Group Public Company Limited, have injected additional capital of 50 million baht (S$2 million) in the joint venture company, BTM (Thailand) Ltd.
The total registered capital of BTM has now increased from 203.3 million baht to 253.3 million baht.
The increase in capital will be used mainly for the expansion of future outlets and working capital. It is funded through internal resources and is not expected to have any material impact on the net tangible assets per share and earnings per share of the group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2017.
