NSL Q1 net profit down 12%
NSL Ltd reported a 12 per cent year-on-year decline in net profit in the first quarter.
Net profit for the three months ended March 31, 2014, was $12.8 million, down from $14.5 million in the year-ago period, the construction, engineering and chemicals group said yesterday. This translated to earnings of 3.44 cents per share, down from 3.89 cents per share in the year-ago quarter.
Sales were up 10 per cent at $124 million, with higher revenue recorded at all its main business divisions.
